How are databases billed?

Databases are billed in 1 month increments, in advance. At the end of each month, the database charge is automatically renewed until you cancel it. The price list is here.

What is your SLA?

All plans come with email support. The 512 MB and 1 GB will get a response to support tickets within 1 business day (usually much less.) The 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB plans will receive a response within 1 business hour. 16 GB and up plans also include phone support, and get a response within 1 hour, 24 hours a day.

We can upgrade your SLA as an addon if you need a higher level of support for your database. Contact us at support@databaselabs.io for details.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diner's Club.

Am I charged when I enter my card?

No, you are only charged when you actually order a database.

Do you offer refunds?

If you're not absolutely thrilled with your database, just write to support@databaselabs.io within 30 days of ordering it and we'll refund your money.

Do you charge for bandwidth?

All plans come with a generous baseline amount of bandwidth included, which is more than enough for almost all users. Beyond the generous baseline included with the plans, additional bandwidth is billed at $0.04 per GB over that limit. Base bandwidths start at 1 TB per month for the Hobbyist plan and go up to 9 TB per month for the largest plans.

How long are my backups available? Can I get a longer retention window?

Backups are available for at least 14 days. If you'd like to arrange a longer window, please contact us and we'll be happy to set it up for you.
