Database Labs ("Database Labs", "Database Labs", "we", or "us") collects and manages user data on the databaselabs.io website (the "Website" or the "Site") and in the services, products, content, features, and applications that we offer (the "Service" or "Services") according to the following Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy only covers Database Labs' use of your information. We cannot control third parties' use of your information; third parties are governed by their own policies, not ours. What Information Do We Collect?

The data we collect enables us to operate, maintain, and improve the Website and Services.

Anonymous Visitor Information

We do not collect credit card numbers or other financial information directly ourselves. Credit card numbers are not ever stored on our servers. We contract with third party payment processing companies ("Payment Processors"), and the use and storage of that information is governed by the Payment Processors' terms of service and privacy policy. Payment Processors may collect financial information in order to process payments, and may store credit card data for recurring subscriptions. We have no direct access to your secure credit card information.

Aggregate Information

We may generate and collect statistical information about both registered and unregistered users collectively ("Aggregate Information"). Some of this information may be derived from your personal information. This Aggregate Information is not personal information and cannot be used to identify you or your account.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of data that may be provided to your computer through your web browser when you access a website. Your browser stores cookies in a manner associated with each website you visit. Database Labs stores cookies for all visitors to the Website in order to identify them for relevant advertising through third party websites, also known as retargeting. Our site may implement, among others, Google Analytics Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, DoubleClick Platform Integrations, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. Please note that this Broswer Add-on is provided by Google, a third party, and not by Database Labs; we provide this link as a convenience only and assume no responsibility for this add-on.

This Privacy Policy covers our use of cookies only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties. We do not control when or how third parties place cookies on your computer. For example, third party websites to which a link points may set cookies on your computer.

How is user information shared?

Public Information

The Website or the Services may provide you the opportunity to create information that is public by default, such as in a public forum.

Aggregate Information

We may share Aggregate Information with our business partners, service providers, and with others with whom we conduct business, so that they can better understand how our Website, Services, and business operate. These third parties may also share information with us that they have independently generated or acquired.

E-mail communications with us

We may contact you via e-mail as necessary in connection with the operation of any Services we provide to you. Database Labs may also send occasional promotional materials via e-mail. You will have the option to opt-out of any such e-mails via a link provided in the e-mail. Even if you opt out of promotional e-mails, we may still contact you via e-mail as necessary for operational, technical, or legal matters related to the provision of Services.

Financial information

We do not ourselves collect financial information, as stated above. Your financial information is transmitted directly to a third party Payment Processor. We may from time to time receive some of your financial information from a Payment Processor for the purpose of completing transactions you initiated, protecting against or identifying possible fraud, or as otherwise needed to manage our business.

Information shared with our agents

We may share personal information with employees or contractors ("Agents") as necessary to provide products or services to you. Agents do not have any right to use such personal information beyond what is necessary to fulfill their business role. You consent to the sharing of your personal information with Agents.

Information disclosed pursuant to business transfers

In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. Database Labs does not monitor its users’ servers or data and it is your responsibility to remain compliant with the laws of your own territory as well as the territories from which Database Labs operates.

Secure passwords

Passwords should be treated as secure and secret. Database Labs staff will never request password information from you and are unable to retrieve passwords that are lost.

How can I terminate my account?

Users can terminate their account through the account management interface provided on the Website, or by contacting support@databaselabs.io. We will need to verify the requestor's authority to delete the account. If your account is terminated, you will lose all ability to access information associated with your account. Any public information you may have created may remain visible and accessible to the public.

Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information is subject to the Privacy Policy that is in effect when such information is used. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update them on the Website. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the privacy policy to obtain timely notice of any changes.
